Waterside Health Bus

The Waterside Health Bus – Launching Spring 2026

We’re delighted to announce that the Waterside Health Bus is currently with Vanhaus Conversions being fitted out and prepared for its planned launch in Spring 2026.

This exciting new service will bring NHS health and wellbeing support directly into our local communities, making it easier for people to access care and advice close to home.

The Health Bus will visit convenient and familiar locations across the Waterside, offering free preventative health services, including:

💙 NHS Health Checks to help people understand their health risks
💙 Blood pressure checks, raising awareness of hypertension and cardiovascular disease
💙 Practical lifestyle advice, including support with physical activity, healthy eating and stopping smoking
💙 Personalised health and wellbeing support, tailored to individual needs
💙 Advice and signposting to further NHS and community services where needed

By bringing services directly into the community, the Waterside Health Bus will help us reach people who may not always access traditional healthcare settings. Our aim is to make support more accessible, encourage people to take a proactive approach to their health, and provide person-centred care within the community.

Our goal is simple: to support healthier lives and improve long-term health outcomes through accessible, preventative and patient-centred care.

We are very grateful to have received a £45,000 donation from ExxonMobil Fawley, which has helped make this initiative possible and demonstrates a shared commitment to improving health and wellbeing across the Waterside community.

We’re looking forward to working with community partners and welcoming residents on board as we prepare for the launch. Please keep following us for updates as we get closer to the launch date.
