Waterside Health Bus

Friendly advice and support from Yvonne, our
Health and Wellbeing Coach

The Waterside Health Bus

Friendly advice and support from our Health and Wellbeing Coach.  Supporting your health and wellbeing, and what matters to you.

Here to advise, not to tell.  â€‹A chance to chat, ask questions and get support.

The Health Bus provides an alternative way of accessing support by taking services into local communities and using familiar community venues.

Our aim is to make support more accessible, encourage people to take a proactive approach to their health, and provide person-centred care within the community.

Where will the bus visit?

The locations have been specifically chosen to reach residents living in those communities or using the facilities nearby. â€‹â€‹

Important Information

  • The Waterside Health Bus is only available for patients registered with a Waterside GP surgery.

  • This is a drop-in service, so there may be a short wait to be seen.

  • There will not be a GP on the Health Bus, and GP appointments cannot be booked via the service.

The Health Bus does not provide GP appointments or replace the clinical services provided by a GP surgery.
If you need to see a GP or require medical assessment, diagnosis, treatment or medication, you should continue to contact your registered GP practice in the usual way.

The Waterside Health Bus is not a replacement for a GP practice and was not introduced to replace the GP surgery that closed in Marchwood.
